This Privacy Policy explains how Necessitie ("RadioRaves," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use the RadioRaves website and services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.
2. Information We Collect
- Account Information. We use Clerk as our third-party authentication provider. When you sign up, Clerk collects and processes information such as your name, email address, and authentication credentials on our behalf.
- Uploaded Content. Audio files and related metadata (e.g., titles, artist names, tags) that you upload to the Service, and the Generated Stems and User Mashups created from that content.
- Usage Data. Information about how you interact with the Service, such as pages viewed, features used, timestamps, and device/browser information.
- Cookies and Similar Technologies. See Section 5 below.
- Communications. Information you provide when you contact us for support.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information described above to: operate, maintain, and improve the Service; authenticate accounts and secure the Service; process uploaded audio (including automated stem separation); enable remix/mashup features between users; communicate with you about the Service; monitor and analyze usage trends; detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service; and comply with legal obligations.
4. How We Share Information — Third-Party Service Providers
We share information with the following categories of third-party service providers, who process it on our behalf and are contractually restricted from using it for their own purposes:

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of users, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (subject to this Policy continuing to apply).
5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember preferences, and understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may limit some features of the Service.
6. Data Retention
We retain account information and uploaded content for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal, security, or legitimate business purposes (e.g., backups, fraud prevention, or already-created User Mashups by other users as described in our Terms of Service).

7.1 If You Are in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom (GDPR)
If GDPR applies to you, Necessitie is the data controller for the personal information described in this Policy. You have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction or deletion; restrict or object to certain processing; request portability of your data; and lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority. Our legal bases for processing include performance of a contract (providing the Service), our legitimate interests (e.g., securing and improving the Service), and your consent (e.g., for certain cookies). 7.2 If You Are a California Resident (CCPA/CPRA)
California residents have the right to: know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect, use, and disclose; request deletion of personal information; request correction of inaccurate personal information; opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (RadioRaves does not sell or share your personal information); and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. 7.3 All Users
Regardless of location, you may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to applicable law and legitimate business needs.
8. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate, which may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verified parental consent, we will delete it.
